Common questions
Do I give up my AOR?
No. You keep the client relationship and all enrollment data. We're just the technology.
How long does implementation take?
Once we load your census, you're ready to quote. Implementation with the employer is up to you — we provide templates and best practices to help.
Do you handle payment processing?
Not yet. Payment processing happens through your existing systems or as a business process setup via the employer's payroll. We're building integrated payment processing for 2026.
What about plan documents?
We don't generate plan documents yet. If you need documents generated, we recommend services such as Core Documents, Ambient TPA, or TASC.
What happens after an employee enrolls?
Selections flow to your dashboard. For select carriers, we auto-submit via HealthSherpa. For others, we provide enrollment data exports and can auto-fill application PDFs. Over time, expect more automated processing.
Who handles mid-year changes and ongoing admin?
You do. We can create special shopping links for off-cycle enrollments (QLE, new hires). You handle terminations and carrier issues.
What if employees need phone support?
Today: you handle it (we provide admin dashboard). 2026: Spectacle Voice handles routine questions 24/7.
Are you a TPA?
Not yet. We're pure enrollment technology. You can keep your existing TPA relationships. Don't have one yet? We can help you find a match.
What about security and compliance?
We follow industry best practices for data security, HIPAA-aware handling of PHI, and encrypted data transmission. SOC2 compliance is planned.
What systems do you integrate with?
HealthSherpa for select carriers. Export to Excel/CSV anytime. We can auto-fill application PDFs — just send us the template.
